Fundamental Research Focus on investments with low fundamental valuations utilizing either top-down (macro-economic) or bottom-up (company specific) analysis. Security Selection The portfolio typically consists of small, mid, or large cap NYSE listed companies, as well as strategically complementing investments. At times, the portfolio may be highly concentrated in certain sectors or cash. This may involve a higher level of risk. Monitor Positions The rationale for owning each investment is continually reviewed to assure that the Risk/Reward of the investment remains favorable. Client Communications Philosophically, the more the client understands our perspective on the economy and their individual portfolio, the better the chance for a meaningful long-term relationship. Our continual communication keeps the client well informed. Sell Decision When the valuation of an investment changes, causing the Risk/Reward to be unfavorable, the security is sold. This shift can result from either an appreciation in the asset or an unexpected deterioration in the fundamentals.
